Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end international freight operations across air, ocean, and courier lanes, including quoting, negotiating, booking, and delivery management.
•Lead customs and trade compliance strategy end-to-end, building playbooks and guiding a logistics admin’s day-to-day filings and documentation.
•Serve as Sales’ commercial partner on freight-heavy deals by advising on landed cost, Incoterms, IOR requirements, and pricing that protects margin.
•Coordinate supplier-side execution with manufacturing partners on shipment readiness, packing, documentation, and pickup windows; manage logistics coordinator work.
•Drive continuous improvements by using the platform as the single source of truth, identifying recurring issues, and automating flows once manual processes work.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hands-on international logistics or freight-forwarding experience, ideally in contract manufacturing, hardware, or high-mix industrial settings.
•Experience negotiating freight rates with forwarders and couriers, with examples of saving (or losing) real money through lane decisions.
•Strong command of international trade documentation and compliance (HTS codes, commercial invoices, packing lists, IORs, bonds, CBP correspondence).
•Commercial thinking about landed cost, Incoterms, margin, and customer experience—not just operational execution.
•Ability to read engineering drawings (e.g., packaging implications) and communicate clearly in short, direct updates; English fluency is required.
