Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare local annual reports and quarterly accounts for two local banks in compliance with IFRS, accounting policies, and local disclosure requirements.
  • •Manage the period-end close process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of accounting journals.
  • •Maintain and periodically review controls over the financial reporting process, ensuring data integrity and remediating exceptions.
  • •Liaise with external auditors during statutory audit processes for the two local banks.
  • •Implement new accounting frameworks and regulatory changes impacting financial and regulatory reporting, and provide required regulatory reporting support.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a relevant professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
