Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Android client-side development and iteration of TikTok Messaging, building core chat experiences like chatrooms, stickers, and Streak social-interaction features.
  • •Develop and optimize real-time Voice & Video Call capabilities and client-side IM infrastructure (IMSDK, on-device data management) for a smooth, reliable messaging experience.
  • •Improve engineering efficiency by building AI skills/knowledge bases and creating AI agents to support daily development and collaboration workflows.
  • •Continuously optimize client performance, stability, and smoothness, including package size and resource consumption, to enhance user experience.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, or related fields.
  • •Strong learning and communication skills, with a sustained passion for technology.
  • •Strong logical analysis and system abstraction abilities to understand and debug large, complex codebases.
  • •Proficiency with AI coding tools.
  • •Solid computer fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems) and experience with Kotlin or Java and the Android development framework.
