Job Summary

Provide technical expertise for a Human Performance program at sites and units where an HP Program Manager/Coordinator is not available. Plan and synchronize training, guidance, and policy recommendations; conduct daily oversight of HP services with objective feedback to leadership and chain of command. Manage HP supplies and equipment support, oversee staff training and travel, develop training materials, and collect/document program data in the enterprise database.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, develop, and synchronize technical training, guidance, and program/policy recommendations for the HP program.
•Design, implement, document, and provide direct daily oversight of HP services, delivering objective feedback to HP and program leadership and the military chain of command.
•Inventory HP supplies and resources; support equipment/supply requisitions, preventive maintenance supplies and scheduling, and equipment purchase recommendations.
•Oversee and advise on training and travel for HP staff under the advisor’s purview; develop and promulgate required training materials.
•Collect, report, and document HP program data, work performed, utilization, referrals, and other required information in the enterprise-wide database; participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

Key Requirements

•Master’s Degree or equivalent in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline.
•5+ years of experience developing long- and short-range planning and coordination of sport- and/or mission-specific performance programs with attributable results.
•Current certification as Certified Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Physical Therapist, Cognitive Performance Specialist, or Performance Dietitian (and maintain it).
•Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association) and meet physical demands of training with SOF, including lifting/manipulating loads and plates up to 25 kilograms.
•US citizenship required; must currently possess Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
