Job Summary

Provide CAD/BIM support for building structures projects within the Building Structures team, producing BIM models and detailed engineering drawings in Revit Structures. Switch between Revit and AutoCAD based on priorities, create work sets and work-sharing methodologies, and help manage model federation and clash detection (Navisworks). Assist the BIM Manager with estimation/costing and delivery planning, ensure compliance with BEP/ISO 19650, and coordinate with engineers and client-side model managers.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage small, medium, and large-scale BIM models for structures using Revit Structures, agreeing drawing strategy/type/size and drawing numbering with the project engineer.
•Prepare design drawings for structures using AutoCAD based on priority of works.
•Assist the BIM Manager with estimation and costing of CAD/BIM projects and help agree project schedule and delivery programme.
•Set up BIM models to project standards, coordinate with model managers and project teams, and create work sets/work-sharing methodologies in Revit models.
•Manage model federation, clash detection (Navisworks), issue tracking, and ensure BIM deliverables comply with project BEP and ISO 19650.

Key Requirements

•Qualification in Revit
•3+ years of experience
•Diploma/degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
•Hands-on experience with Revit Structures (including Revit families) and AutoCAD
•Experience in RC/steel detailing and building structure details for submission, with good coordination/communication skills
