Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and demonstrate safe, patient- and family-focused quality care within the assigned nursing unit.
  • •Manage the nursing unit on a 24-hour basis by assessing acuity, planning work assignments, and directing patient care to required standards.
  • •Ensure effective day-to-day skill mix and staffing by determining and reviewing staffing plans and scheduling systems as acuity and needs change.
  • •Perform/monitor personnel management including interviewing and selecting candidates, performance management, and corrective action.
  • •Ensure policies, procedures, and practices align with hospital strategic direction and regulatory standards; support risk management, communication channels, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in nursing (required).
  • •Minimum 4 years managerial experience in a nursing operating room.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of the accreditation process in an acute healthcare facility, with emphasis on JCI.
  • •ERP knowledge; SAP functional skills are required for success in this role.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
