Key Responsibilities

  • •Run daily operations of the Water Treatment Department, including inspections, equipment monitoring, and preventative maintenance.
  • •Monitor Water & Waste Treatment control systems and recording devices; perform lab testing of effluent for process control and adjust to stay within discharge limits.
  • •Clean and organize the Water Treatment area and equipment; complete daily records and paperwork.
  • •Conduct operational maintenance and testing of plant water softeners and operate/maintain the blood trough.
  • •Support water-treatment logistics tasks, including loading/moving bi-product trailers/tankers, managing deliveries/pick-ups, and completing bill of lading/security seal requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years of experience in the operations and maintenance of water treatment plants and associated ancillary/auxiliary equipment and distribution systems.
  • •Obtain a Water Treatment Operator Certification within 12 months of employment.
  • •Read, write, and comprehend English to communicate effectively, including with technical persons by phone.
  • •Knowledge of maintenance and water treatment terminology to communicate within the department.
  • •Valid driver’s license; experience driving a tractor/trailer or yard truck preferred.
