Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design reviews and provide high-level analysis related to software design and development, mentoring junior developers and collaborating with Product Owners and Solution Architects.
  • •Develop, test, and support Mainframe Security solutions, adopting a test-first approach where possible.
  • •Contribute to the product roadmap by applying past experiences and experimenting with new technologies.
  • •Perform unit/module testing and participate in end-of-iteration demos, ensuring timely delivery of features.
  • •Document software development processes and maintain code quality while fostering continuous team improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience testing modern large-scale software and complex test configurations
  • •Mastery of operating as a developer in the IBM mainframe environment
  • •Experience debugging with tools like XDC and IPCS
  • •Experience in software development using IBM Assembler/Metal C on the mainframe (zOS or zVSE)
  • •Experience implementing JCL to execute batch processes in zOS or zVSE
