Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve ephemeral and local development environments to keep them production-like, fast, and trustworthy.
  • •Design, build, and harden CI/CD on GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows and self-hosted runners.
  • •Build and drive adoption of an internal developer portal and its service scaffolding and self-service infrastructure.
  • •Define and track DevEx metrics (build/test times, environment reliability, lead time to production, change failure rate) to guide priorities.
  • •Mentor engineers and lead initiatives from conception through adoption, partnering across Security, Compliance, and product engineering teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful focus on developer experience, platform engineering, or engineering productivity.
  • •Write production-quality code in at least one general-purpose language (Go, Python, TypeScript/Node, or similar) and build tools, not just configure them.
  • •Deep, practical Kubernetes experience, including debugging and abstracting it away for other engineers.
  • •Built and operated CI/CD systems at scale, with concrete examples of improving build performance, cost, or reliability.
  • •Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform preferred) and comfort owning AWS cloud infrastructure.
