Job Summary

Assess supplier capability using the Supplier Health Assessment, then work with suppliers on-site to complete Gemba diagnoses and create gap-closure plans. Coach and train supplier teams weekly, establish performance leading indicators, and track progress with Pratt & Whitney to ensure benefits are achieved. Lead continuous improvement events and intervene to expedite deliveries or resolve quality issues, with significant travel within NY, NJ, and PA and work-from-home support.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform Supplier Health Assessment (SHA) to assess suppliers’ capability to perform and sustain performance.
•Engage suppliers to complete Gemba diagnosis and develop comprehensive gap-closure plans.
•Conduct weekly training and coaching on-site, then follow up to validate gap plans and monitor progress with the PW and supplier teams.
•Establish leading performance indicators and track them weekly on-site at the supplier.
•Intervene to expedite deliveries and resolve quality issues, and lead continuous improvement events at suppliers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management, or related field with 8 years of experience in operations, quality, and/or continuous improvement roles; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
•U.S. citizenship is required.
•Reside in the New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania area.
•Be able to travel up to 80% of your time within the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas.
•On-site at suppliers 80% of your time.
