Key Responsibilities

  • •Staff the console per shift schedule to sustain 24/7 coverage and maintain awareness of maintenance and degraded-but-accepted states.
  • •Monitor designated signal surfaces (cluster health, node availability, network health, power/cooling trends, storage alarms) and acknowledge alerts within SLA.
  • •Detect, verify, classify (actionable/known/noise), and escalate incidents within time budgets using the escalation matrix.
  • •Run incident communications/coordination by opening the bridge, issuing first updates within SLA, maintaining incident timelines, and calling out stalls.
  • •Produce initial framing for major outages and write major-incident reports with corrective projects tracked to closure.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ year of professional experience in a NOC/SOC/mission-control/dispatch or equivalent 24/7 monitoring and incident-communications role.
  • •Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills under time pressure for stakeholder updates, handoffs, and timelines.
  • •Must be available for on-shift rotations supporting 24/7/365 console coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • •Must be able to work extended hours during major incidents as needed.
