Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, run, and adjust manufacturing equipment to produce plastic film and bag products.
  • •Follow safety, GMP, and ISO policies; conduct daily section inspections and ensure required safety checks are completed before putting equipment in line.
  • •Maintain quality standards by checking and recording quality/weight data, monitoring variances, and reporting bad quality product.
  • •Perform changeovers and operate packaging tasks including threading equipment, setting heat profiles, and adjusting equipment settings to maintain yields.
  • •Perform routine PMs and equipment repairs; write maintenance work requests when repairs are beyond training; assist maintenance troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • •3 to 6 months experience working as a Packer 2 and/or 3 to 6 months experience working in manufacturing in a related field.
  • •Ability to follow safety, GMP, and ISO policies and maintain a safe work environment.
  • •Able to read and understand the traveler and document quality and weight on bag check sheets.
  • •Ability to use measuring instruments, perform basic mechanical repairs with hand tools, and solve practical problems in varying conditions.
