Job Summary

Build and scale AI-powered workflows, automations, apps, and agents embedded in Recruiting and People operations. Own Dust agent architecture and develop production workflows that improve recruiting speed, quality, and consistency—from sourcing and outreach through scheduling, candidate communication, and offer-to-hire handoffs. Partner with People Systems and Operations, maintain the knowledge base powering agents, evaluate new AI/workflow tools, and ship lightweight solutions across the team’s recruiting tool stack.

Job Function: Data Science & Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows, automations, apps, and agents that eliminate manual work across Recruiting and People operations.
•Own Dust agent architecture for the People team, including agents, skills, and connectors supporting recruiters, coordinators, hiring managers, and People partners.
•Turn team concepts into durable, documented, adopted production workflows.
•Build recruiting-funnel automations spanning sourcing outreach, interview scheduling and coordination, candidate communication, and offer-to-hire handoffs.
•Serve as a technical build partner for Ashby-driven ATS workflows and identify/prioritize automation opportunities; evaluate and implement new AI and workflow tools.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience building AI workflows, automations, or agents in a business operations context (shipped, not just prompted).
•Experience with Claude Code or similar AI builder/operator environments beyond AI-assisted writing or research.
•Ability to translate messy manual business processes into scalable, adopted workflows or internal tools.
•Experience working in Recruiting/Talent, People, HR, or Recruiting functions with non-technical stakeholders.
•Comfortable with ambiguity and using sound judgment on when AI is the right tool vs automation/scripts/process redesign.
