Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively identify security gaps, risks, and inefficiencies across cloud and on-premise environments and lead security initiatives from proposal through execution.
  • •Own cloud-native security monitoring, threat detection, and posture management, extending equivalent coverage to on-premise/data center environments.
  • •Own and manage centralized identity and access management, including permission structures, session policies, and organization-level policy guardrails following least-privilege principles.
  • •Design and enforce encryption policies for data at rest and in transit, and conduct periodic access reviews and recertification across cloud and on-premise resources.
  • •Own the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, define server hardening/security baselines (including containerized environments), and participate in incident response/root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in cloud security, including working knowledge of on-premise/data center security.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with AWS as the primary cloud platform.
  • •Hands-on experience with identity and access management, access governance, and security posture management tools.
  • •Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS) and solid Linux/Windows server hardening, patching, and baselining.
  • •Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or cloud security certifications) or equivalent experience.
