Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build the core accounting product including general ledger, chart of accounts, journals, AP/AR, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • •Own integrations across inventory, payments, POS transaction flows, and regulatory e-invoicing (ZATCA).
  • •Deliver full-stack features, working across schema, backend and frontend surfaces in a small squad.
  • •Translate accounting requirements into system design in close partnership with a product manager and domain accountant.
  • •Ship quickly with early architectural decisions and iterative merchant-facing releases to validate what works.

  • •5+ years building production software with meaningful time on accounting, ERP, or financial systems, including double-entry and period close concepts.
  • •Strong full-stack engineering with the ability to own a feature end-to-end from schema to UI.
  • •AI-native way of working using agents/LLMs daily, with judgment about trustworthiness and where AI output can be used safely.
  • •Track record shipping fast in early-stage/greenfield environments with small teams and short cycles.
  • •Comfort caring for correctness in systems where errors are expensive, and ability to work substantially within GMT+3 hours.
