Job Summary

Support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren Division by serving as a Purchase Requisition (PR) Creator. Manage data transitions from IBPES into the ERP system to generate compliant purchase requests for OFDs, incremental funding, and contracts. Review and resolve rejected requisitions, track customer correspondence across departments, meet PR metrics and deadlines, and produce accurate reporting for leadership. Perform on-site daily operational support and drive workflow process improvements.

•Oversee data transitioning from IBPES into the ERP system to generate purchase requisitions for OFDs, incremental funding, and contracts.
•Research and evaluate rejected requisitions and manage corrections within established deadlines.
•Lead and track correspondence with customers across multiple departments while maintaining accurate logs and minimizing rejection rates.
•Facilitate process improvement initiatives to enhance PR creation workflow and manage PR process metrics, standards, and deadlines.
•Provide decision support as the primary interface with Departments, comptrollers, SMEs, and approving officials; manage PR activities across funding types and assist with monthly reconciliations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 55,000 - 67,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Must hold an active DoD-issued Interim-Secret (or higher) security clearance (Active Secret preferred).
•Associate degree (AA) in a related business field, or 3+ years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
•Multitask and work independently with minimal oversight, exercising discretion and managing priorities as a subject-matter resource.
•Work across multiple online databases (e.g., ERP/IBPES) to diagnose issues and respond to customer requests.
•Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) with strong detail-orientation and time management.
