Job Function: Product Management
Seniority: Sr. Manager level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design and implementation of production-quality Rust components for low-level, performance-sensitive GPU systems.
  • •Make Rust a first-class language across the GPU software stack, including toolchain integration, libraries, coding standards, diagnostics, testing, and deployment practices.
  • •Design and implement compiler pipelines spanning rustc/MIR through target-neutral IRs, MLIR dialects/transformations, LLVM IR, and AMDGPU code generation.
  • •Build analyses and transformations for GPU execution models, memory spaces, synchronization, capabilities, and target-specific lowering.
  • •Partner across compiler, runtime, firmware, architecture, validation, security, and performance teams; write design docs, lead technical reviews, and mentor engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong production Rust experience with safe abstractions over unsafe code, including ownership/borrowing, lifetimes, traits/generics, error handling, concurrency, and FFI.
  • •Experience with low-level or constrained Rust (e.g., no std, embedded, firmware, custom targets, allocators, volatile access, interrupt handling).
  • •Strong C or C++ systems programming skills to work across mixed-language codebases.
  • •Experience with rustc internals and compiler infrastructure such as MIR, codegen backends, procedural macros, compiler plugins, or Rust toolchain components.
  • •Experience with GPU/compiler frameworks and execution models, including LLVM/MLIR and AMDGPU/GCN/RDNA/ROCm/HIP/HSA, and understanding compiler correctness and semantic preservation.
