Combustion Turbine Technician (University Park, IL, US, 60484)

Operate, maintain, and monitor combustion turbine plant systems on rotating shifts at the University Park North and South facilities. Perform control room and outside operator duties, including testing and treatment of plant water, equipment start-up/shut-down, switching electrical equipment up to 345 kV, troubleshooting abnormalities, and interfacing with dispatch. Lead assigned maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, and warehousing, using SAP and distributed control systems while adhering to safety, compliance, and environmental standards.
