Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and lead one or more cross-discipline Project Controls teams for high-risk, high-complexity, high-value projects or programmes.
  • •Define scope using exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinate scope decomposition to establish a Work Breakdown Structure.
  • •Partner with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust performance measurement baseline and manage the change control process.
  • •Integrate and align scope, cost, risk, and schedule; analyse performance data (including Earned Value Management) to support delivery decisions.
  • •Mentor and coach team members and stakeholders; establish governance processes and assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of team outputs.

Key Requirements

  • •Be able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC) and be a Sole UK National.
  • •Proven experience setting up and leading cross-discipline Project Controls teams on high-risk, high-complexity, high-value projects or programmes.
  • •Experience across the project lifecycle and across two or more Project Controls disciplines including planning & scheduling, cost estimation, cost control, risk management, or performance reporting.
  • •Have an advanced understanding of how Integrated Project Controls disciplines operate across operating models, including assessing organisational maturity and ways of working.
  • •Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant technical or management field (or equivalent) and be a member of a relevant professional body (e.g., Association for Project Management or Project Management Institute).
