Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze, design, and build systems that support critical rocket launches and testing.
  • •Lead cradle-to-grave project ownership, including hosting design reviews, justifying decisions, and coordinating equipment procurement and construction support.
  • •Design modular hardware for manufacturability at volume for future launch sites.
  • •Apply interdisciplinary skills in process design, pressurized fluid and thermal analysis, structural engineering, materials/component selection, and cost/schedule optimization.
  • •Work with technicians and launch operations to troubleshoot, activate equipment, iterate maintenance strategies, and adjust plans to meet tight deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of hands-on build or design experience (internship, club, and competition team experience qualifies).
  • •Strong fundamentals in fluid and/or structural/mechanical systems.
  • •Intermediate CAD skills (NX is a plus) and ability to produce fabrication drawings.
  • •Experience with high pressure and cryogenic fluid systems and components (or equivalent).
