Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide performance measurement and attribution analysis for a range of investment strategies, with emphasis on quantitative and active investment products.
  • •Analyse and deconstruct portfolio returns using Brinson-Fachler and factor-based attribution methods (style, sector, and security selection).
  • •Partner with portfolio management teams to validate attribution outputs and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • •Act as a subject matter expert to develop and enhance performance measurement, evaluation, and asset allocation reporting capabilities.
  • •Support digital and data transformation initiatives by identifying root causes in data/reporting/process issues and driving automation and scalable analytics/reporting solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
  • •Minimum 7 years’ experience in financial services with direct performance measurement, performance attribution, investment analytics, or risk analytics in asset management.
  • •Strong understanding of quantitative and active investment strategies, factor-based attribution methodologies, and portfolio risk and asset allocation concepts.
  • •Experience using investment analytics platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, FactSet, or similar tools.
  • •Experience analysing and interpreting large datasets; ability to use data visualisation/analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or QlikView.
