Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical construction projects for TCAP, ensuring safe and efficient completion per contract documents and Port standards.
  • •Serve as the day-to-day Construction Manager for assigned projects, reporting to the Resident Engineer.
  • •Coordinate with facility and operations personnel to minimize impacts to ongoing operations.
  • •Interpret contract documents and assist with contract administration and enforcement.
  • •Supervise and mentor field staff; review submittals/RFIs/inspection reports, track work items and change orders, and support estimates, payment applications, and progress reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • •10+ years of construction inspection/management experience on projects ranging from $500K to $5M+.
  • •Valid driver’s license.
  • •OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification required; fall protection, MPT, confined space, and permit-required confined space training preferred/required as applicable.
  • •Proficiency with eBuilder and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
