Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with NPI Principal Technologist and engineering teams on new product introduction efforts.
  • •Develop and test product and tooling concepts through rapid prototyping.
  • •Solve manufacturing, process, automation, and product-related problems.
  • •Design and modify fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support NPI builds.
  • •Perform data analysis and investigations including SPC, gage R&R, and characterization studies.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • •Able to commit to a 5–6 months full-time internship starting in January 2027.
  • •Strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on problem-solving ability.
  • •Familiarity with 3D CAD and simulation/analysis such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
  • •Experience or exposure to mechanism design, machine vision systems, robotics, and programming (preferred).
