Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and operate distributed simulation workflows for large-scale testing of robotic control, planning, and perception across operating scenarios.
  • •Architect and build scalable HD mapping workflows integrated into autonomy stacks for control and planning.
  • •Design and build infrastructure and tools for HD map creation, ingestion, and lifecycle management across Applied products.
  • •Define and own the HD map storage format for heterogeneous features, including UIs, data pipelines and storage, CRUD operations, and SDKs.
  • •Develop and support a highly scalable real-time geometric query system and corresponding tooling to digitize road network geometry from geospatial inputs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Computer Science, Robotics, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering field.
  • •2+ years building software components/sub-systems for HD mapping for autonomous vehicles, addressing real-world mapping and/or localization challenges.
  • •3+ years programming and systems experience with C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, SQL, Linux, and Git.
  • •Experience with scalable distributed systems, CI/CD workflows, and version control/cross-team collaboration using Jira and Git-based tooling.
  • •Strong understanding of lane-level geometry at CM precision, routing, and HD (High-Definition) map structures used in autonomous driving.
