Key Responsibilities

  • •Deputise for a senior company employee in the Typhoon Maintenance Organisation, providing functional direction, duty of care, and discipline for employees under control.
  • •Uphold safety-first practices and support SHE and PS&E compliance while ensuring contractual delivery of shop activities aligned to the repair plan.
  • •Ensure compliance with BAE Systems Operational Framework, Life Cycle Management practices, Maintenance & Continuing Airworthiness mandates, MOE, and RSAF Logistics Management Regulations.
  • •Undertake reviews of maintenance practices, identify capacity improvements, raise issues impacting airworthiness/safety, and monitor standards for non-conformities or deficiencies.
  • •Maintain operational readiness of shop equipment (tooling, approved data, calibrations), manage authorisations, conduct anti-FOD surveillance, and ensure accurate maintenance recording and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline (or technical apprenticeship/equivalent acceptable to M&CA).
  • •At least 7 years post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace-applied training OR 3 years on the same aircraft type.
  • •Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise engineering personnel.
  • •Relevant type training (‘Q’ Course) and equipment-specific training if required.
  • •Obtain and maintain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level throughout employment in KSA.
