Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to the Maintenance Planning department to efficiently deliver commitments to service providers, staff, and regulatory authorities.
  • •Develop and operate Maintenance Planning procedures to ensure consistent alignment with national airworthiness regulations and KPI reporting.
  • •Establish internal procedures and interfaces to support department objectives and assist other departments.
  • •Deliver annual maintenance cost budgets and periodically review workforce performance using Etihad appraisal systems.
  • •Oversee maintenance project lifecycle events, investigate and remedy quality lapses, monitor technical records processes for CAMO compliance, and interface with scheduling and other departments.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a technical academic degree/HND in aeronautical engineering or hold an ICAO type I or type II license.
  • •Minimum seven years operational experience in a Maintenance Planning environment.
  • •Demonstrated management/supervisory skills, including experience managing and motivating a team to meet deliverables.
  • •Proven up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness and Health and Safety legislation.
  • •Proven track record delivering results, including continuous improvement and behavioural change frameworks.
