Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend to Power and Desalination plant field instrumentation breakdowns and planned maintenance with minimum direction and supervision.
  • •Assess the requirement of allocated jobs and select the necessary tools and equipment.
  • •Use the computerized maintenance system to order spare parts and maintain records of maintenance work.
  • •Ensure maintenance work complies with safety procedures and plant requirements; report repeated breakdowns and assist RCFA.
  • •Provide on-the-job training to new craftsmen to equip them with necessary skills.

Key Requirements

  • •Higher secondary or diploma
  • •Familiar with maintenance tools and Plant Safety; experience in power or desalination plant and calibration of field instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, level and flow devices
  • •Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic valve actuation systems
  • •CO2 Fire Protection systems
  • •Infrared Gas Detection systems
