Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as mediator of external demands, ensuring the team operates with focus and without unplanned interruptions.
  • •Manage priorities and the technical backlog of the team according to agreed demands.
  • •Be the technical reference and decision maker for the team, ensuring strategic projects are delivered as planned.
  • •Oversee definition and implementation of data architecture standards (modeling, data layers, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
  • •Ensure SLAs for delivery and availability of data assets consumed by BI and Data Science teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in data engineering with at least 10 years in the field.
  • •Experience structuring data environments in Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, PySpark, Databricks Workflows).
  • •Experience in data productization (datasets, data products, data quality).
  • •Strong data engineering background with batch and streaming pipelines, data ingestion (Data Factory) and transformation.
  • •Ability to review and validate data architecture decisions independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
