Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist patients and families by supporting healthy changes in eating patterns through ongoing guidance.
  • •Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using nutrition assessments, meal plan prescriptions, and target weight range assessment.
  • •Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods and provide education to help address nutrition-related concerns.
  • •Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team by communicating meal plans and recommendations and aligning with treatment directives.
  • •Deliver evidence-based nutrition education, maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record, and support discharge planning.
