Key Responsibilities

  • •Design or rework DRP architectures (replication, backup, site failover, bare-metal restoration) for vital and critical applications aligned to RTO/RPO targets.
  • •Challenge existing DRP procedures, make technical trade-offs (storage, virtualization, network, backup), and manage hardware/firmware compatibility and patching strategy impacts.
  • •Implement DRP procedures with application owners up to executable command level, provide a common DRP procedure template, and keep DRPs for critical apps executable and up to date.
  • •Automate and harden DRP sequences using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
  • •Build and run DRP test scenarios: plan campaigns, supervise execution, qualify results, report anomalies, manage remediation plans, and update/archive documentation and reports in the internal ECM.

Key Requirements

  • •Bac+5 in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
  • •About 8 years of experience with IT infrastructures supporting critical systems.
  • •Strong hands-on familiarity with systems, virtualization, storage, backup, and command-line usage.
  • •Experience with the hardware layer and firmware (servers, storage arrays, network equipment) and understanding update/patching impacts.
  • •Experience participating in a DRP or real restoration under operational conditions.
