Job Summary

Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems while acting as the face of Vivint in customers’ homes. Evaluate customer needs on-site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements using a consultative sales approach. Train homeowners to use their new systems, follow a strong safety culture with home safety analysis, and grow through virtual and on-the-job training, coaching, and support.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
•Evaluate customer homes on-site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
•Train homeowners on how to use their new systems to protect their families.
•Conduct a safety analysis of every home to ensure a safe workplace for technicians and customers.
•Participate in virtual and on-the-job training with ongoing coaching to develop skills and advance within the organization.

Key Requirements

•Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
•Ability to successfully pass a post-offer background investigation and meet licensing requirements per applicable law.
•Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus (sales mindset).
•Experience installing or servicing systems is helpful (e.g., cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar).
•Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs and climb ladders (up to 14 feet), including working in confined spaces.
