Job Summary

Support the design and implementation of new aviation products by assessing component manufacturability, analyzing prototype and serial production options, and preparing cost analyses and quotes. Collaborate with design teams to optimize products for cost and producibility, define concepts for machining (including CNC), assembly, and quality control, and work with suppliers and production sites to reduce manufacturing risks. Present analysis results in project reviews and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

•Support project teams with manufacturing technology for new products.
•Evaluate manufacturability of designed components and assemblies.
•Analyze production feasibility for prototype and/or serial processes.
•Collaborate with designers to optimize products for cost and manufacturability.
•Define concepts for machining, CNC machining, assembly, and quality control; coordinate with suppliers and production sites and identify manufacturing risks.

Key Requirements

•Higher technical education (preferred: Mechanical Engineering & Machine Design, Production Engineering, Aviation or related).
•Experience in production processes, with a special focus on machining.
•Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies for metal parts and mechanical assemblies.
•Ability to assess design manufacturability and implement it for serial production.
•Very good English proficiency in speaking and writing.
