Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform detailed design of low to extra-high voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA communications, and station physical layouts.
  • •Develop cable and conduit plans and details, grounding/ground grid design, foundation and structural plans, and control enclosure and lightning protection details.
  • •Create yard lighting plans and bills of materials, and support client deliverable QA/QC.
  • •Participate in transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.
  • •Exercise ethical decision-making, adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and workplace safety policies, and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree from an accredited university, preferably with a power option.
  • •0-1 years of experience.
  • •Strong electrical engineering knowledge to build on.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship.
  • •Strong command of English with good written and oral communication skills.
