Job Summary

Lead reliability testing and characterization of electro-optical components for high-speed data-center communications. Work within NVIDIA’s product engineering team in Yokneam, Israel to develop and validate future electro-optic devices, building and operating high-speed test setups (fibers, lasers, optics, electronics) and leveraging MATLAB/Python to analyze reliability data.

Key Responsibilities

•Characterize and perform reliability tests on electro-optical components.
•Work in a high-performance engineering environment to support development of future components and technologies.
•Build and operate test setups including optical fibers, lasers, optics, and electronics.
•Collaborate within the product engineering team delivering next-generation electro-optic devices for data centers.
•Analyze reliability data and contribute to design improvements based on test results.

Key Requirements

•BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related electro-optics field is required.
•3 years of experience in reliability testing of semiconductor lasers and photodetectors for fiber optic communication is an advantage.
•Ability to work in a team with diverse strengths and good collaboration.
•Familiarity with electro-optical and high-speed lab environments (optical table, light coupling, fibers, probe station).
•Programming skills in MATLAB and Python are a plus, and proficiency in English is preferred.
