Job Summary

Build and operate production reliability for Develocity’s toolchain observability and intelligence platform. Define SRE standards and operating models (on-call, incident response, postmortems, SLOs), lead incident management and blameless reviews, and drive automation across deployment, monitoring, self-healing, and disaster recovery. Work hands-on with Develocity’s cloud platform (Kubernetes on AWS), improve observability, mentor SREs, and communicate clearly with customers during incidents.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and maintain Develocity instances and supporting production services.
•Define and evolve SRE standards, practices, and operating models (on-call, incident response, postmortems, SLOs).
•Lead follow-the-sun on-call escalations, including complex or high-severity incident response and retrospectives.
•Drive automation across deployment, upgrades, monitoring, self-healing, recovery, and operational workflows.
•Build and maintain observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting), and own disaster recovery and business continuity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years in SRE or DevOps operating production services at scale.
•Experience leading reliability initiatives across multiple teams or services.
•Expertise designing and operating systems with SLOs and error budgets while balancing reliability, velocity, and cost.
•Strong Kubernetes experience in production environments.
•Cloud infrastructure expertise, preferably AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, EC2).
