Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive hardware procurement and prototype pipeline management, owning tactical end-to-end purchasing for prototype builds and production runs.
  • •Run RFQs, issue POs, track shipments, and expedite critical parts to support fast-moving engineering sprints.
  • •Oversee material receipt, inventory allocation, and local logistics for incoming engineering parts, including kitting and routing to labs or assembly lines.
  • •Lead global sourcing strategies for critical robotic hardware categories including motors, structural components, sensors, custom silicon, and camera modules.
  • •Partner with R&D teams during early-stage prototyping (Proto/EVT/DVT) to enable supplier involvement, run DFM feedback loops, and transition designs from R&D prototypes to scaled manufacturing with partners.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, global supply management, or technical procurement in hardware, robotics, consumer electronics, automotive, or aerospace.
  • •Proven experience supporting engineering during early development cycles (EVT/DVT/PVT), including prototype sourcing and hands-on order placement.
  • •Direct experience taking electromechanical hardware components or systems from early concept through NPI and into scaled production.
  • •Experience managing and negotiating with suppliers across PCBAs, precision machining, sensors, or optical systems.
  • •Ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings, mechanical GD&T, and electrical schematics.
