Key Responsibilities

  • •Adjust welding equipment settings based on material type and metallurgical properties to produce quality welds.
  • •Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols; set up and weld components using appropriate fixtures and tooling.
  • •Perform MIG welding on production parts and assemblies.
  • •Operate hand grinders and other finishing tools as required.
  • •Conduct ongoing visual inspections, identify and communicate quality/safety/process concerns, and follow all safety procedures and work instructions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform high-school level math calculations.
  • •Experience performing MIG welding in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • •Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively within a team environment.
  • •Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds while maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
