Job Summary

Join WPP's Cyber Risk and Compliance team as the Technology Risk & Controls Manager for Media, embedding robust data and technology controls, driving SOX/IT control compliance, and ensuring audit readiness across internal, external, and client audits. You will coach project teams, collaborate with Financial Risk and Control, and shape standardized, repeatable controls posture in a hybrid UK-based media environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a key liaison with markets to assist in timely completion of audits (internal, external or client).
•Communicate effectively with Control Owners, Operators, Business platform Directors and other senior stakeholders.
•Ensure all stakeholders are informed about progress, risks, and issues.
•Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Risk and Controls Matrix for the application control environment.
•Monitor audit deficiencies and support markets in developing remediation plans.

Key Requirements

•Understand the importance of strong IT controls and maintaining a positive user experience.
•Prior experience in internal and external IT audits.
•Robust understanding of the SOX controls framework and experience working with external auditors on SOX compliance within large-scale transformations.
•Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
•Attention to detail and ability to apply quality standards to all tasks.
