Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members within a Defence health setting with no Medicare billing and dedicated admin time.
  • •Conduct risk assessments, crisis intervention, and formulate treatment and care plans for individuals and groups.
  • •Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment to support patient wellbeing and streamline care.
  • •Manage patient records accurately and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • •Provide CPD and uphold ethical, patient-centred care in line with professional standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Unrestricted AHPRA General registration as a Psychologist with PsVB A clinical endorsement
  • •Minimum two years post-graduate experience in mental health within the last five years in a Primary Healthcare or Specialist Mental Health setting
  • •Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
  • •Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
  • •Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
