Key Responsibilities

  • •Accession and process incoming samples, including quality control of starting material, library preparation, and pooling.
  • •Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sequencing instruments; execute preventative maintenance to ensure maximum uptime.
  • •Review sequencing output, perform QC, and conduct basic data analysis while collaborating with bioinformaticians for interpretation.
  • •Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate compliance documentation.
  • •Coordinate with logistics partners and provide customers with shipping consumables for timely lab delivery.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 45,000 - 50,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of hands-on experience with DNA extraction, purification, and/or sequencing techniques.
  • •Fluency in English and strong communication skills for collaborating across lab locations.
  • •Deep technical expertise in Oxford Nanopore Technology sequencing, library preparation automation, and quality control.
  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field (or equivalent training as BTA with relevant experience).
  • •Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
