Job Summary

Drive day-to-day execution of a venue zero-waste program by coordinating waste sorting, recycling, composting, donations, and diversion efforts for show days. Work onsite during pre-season setup and during mid/post-show procedures, maintaining clean sorting areas and supporting Front of House and Back of House initiatives. Partner with the Venue Sustainability Manager, train and oversee the crew, and step in when they can’t attend scheduled shows.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in venue sustainability onboarding, training, and crew training/oversight.
•Support pre-season venue setup onsite to ensure zero-waste procedures are in place.
•Assist with mid- and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill.
•Oversee material sorting for reuse, recovery, and diversion from landfill to meet diversion and budget goals.
•Maintain clean sorting areas and support post-show pick; step in to oversee sustainability processes when needed.

Key Requirements

•Assist with venue sustainability onboarding and crew training/oversight.
•Be able to work show days and non-show days on weekdays and weekends.
•Not afraid to get dirty or be around unpleasant odors.
•Ability to work outside in variable weather and lift/carry 50+ lbs while sorting materials.
•Strong time management, positive attitude, and teamwork to execute zero-waste programs.
