Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in Venue Sustainability Supervisor on-boarding, training, and assist with Crew training and oversight.
  • •Be onsite during pre-season venue set up to ensure zero waste operational procedures are in place.
  • •Assist with mid- and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
  • •Oversee material sorting for reuse, donations, and recycling/composting to increase resource recovery and diversion.
  • •Support Front of House and Back of House zero waste initiatives and step in to oversee sustainability processes if the Venue Sustainability Manager cannot attend.

Key Requirements

  • •Assist with on-boarding, training, and oversight for the Venue Sustainability Crew.
  • •Be able to perform physically demanding show-day tasks including walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting/carrying 50+ lbs.
  • •Work outside in variable weather and be willing to work show days and non-show days including weekends and late hours.
  • •Maintain strong time management and show up on time to execute waste sorting procedures effectively.
  • •Have a foundational understanding of recycling, composting, and material circularity, with experience in events/zero waste events a plus.
