Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely and professionally to deliver concrete to commercial and residential job sites. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain equipment in safe, clean condition, verify mix specifications after loading and at the site, and manage unloading with chutes. Clean the truck after delivery to prevent concrete hardening and complete other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready-mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public roads, and at job sites to deliver products.
•Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition and perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
•Verify mix specifications after loading and at the job site to ensure proper delivery.
•Align and operate the mixer drum and chute system to receive and discharge concrete into the area being poured.
•Drive to locations for unloading, clean the truck after delivery, and place/operate chutes as directed; perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
•Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or Class B and a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
