Job Summary

Fill in and perform utility work in the assigned feed mill area when regular workers are absent. Train and cross-train associates on needed tasks, set up lines with stands and ice, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area. Follow company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and all local, state, and federal requirements while meeting safety and physical demands. Shift is Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with occasional Saturdays; shift times may vary.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently fill in and perform work while regular worker is absent.
•Train and cross-train incoming and current workers on new skills as needed.
•Distribute knives before shift, swap out knives during shift, and collect knives at end of shift.
•Set up assigned lines with stands and ice.
•Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and perform all work in compliance with required policies and guidelines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.8 - 19.8 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
•Basic math skills
•Ability to perform one or more functions of the deboning process
•Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
•Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours
