Job Summary

Support Florida Air National Guard day-to-day flying operations by coordinating F135 propulsion system maintenance activities and ensuring propulsion availability. Perform aircraft download processing, propulsion software loads, prognostic health monitoring, engine health reporting codes, and MBITS-related controls activities. Provide short-notice domestic and international backfill, working autonomously and rotating shifts while advising customers using technical data and safe maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate F135 propulsion system maintenance activities with the P&W team, flight line operating areas, squadron, and Lockheed Martin maintenance operating areas to ensure propulsion availability.
•Perform controls activities including aircraft download processing and analysis, propulsion system software loads, activations, and monitoring for Prognostic Health Monitoring, Engine Health Reporting Codes, and MBITS.
•Advise and assist the customer in performing F135 propulsion system maintenance in accordance with technical data and safe maintenance procedures, including fault isolation/troubleshooting and F135 repair actions.
•Provide short-notice domestic and international backfill support when not assigned to the Florida Air National Guard, adapting to local processes and standards.
•Work autonomously as the sole FSE and rotate between first and second shift schedules to meet team objectives.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8+ years of professional experience (with a degree) in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, and logistics support, including supply chain and Support Equipment management.
•Secret security clearance: ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance.
•U.S. citizenship required to be eligible for a secret clearance.
•Position requires up to 50% travel.
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related technical field) preferred; non-technical degrees may be considered with 12+ years in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, and logistics support.
