Key Responsibilities

  • •Own total engineering delivery and act as the single accountable leader for cross-functional program execution across the DEWALT professional power tools portfolio.
  • •Drive new product development excellence by shaping and executing the NPD pipeline, ensuring programs are scoped and resourced for success.
  • •Own Towson engineering talent by building a best-in-class leadership team, driving succession planning, performance management, and capability building.
  • •Integrate across functions by partnering as the primary Towson liaison with Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and the Mexico engineering ecosystem.
  • •Champion platforming and design-to-value, embedding engineering process rigor and setting measurable KPIs for cycle time, first-pass quality, productivity, and design-driven cost reduction.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of progressive engineering, product development, and technology leadership, including direct experience leading large multidisciplinary engineering organizations (300+ people).
  • •Proven track record delivering cross-functional new product development programs on time and to specification across mechanical/electrical hardware and software-integrated products.
  • •Deep familiarity with systems engineering principles and total tool/total product accountability, including experience implementing or maturing systems engineering capability.
  • •Experience in electrification, embedded systems, and platform engineering, with sufficient depth to set direction, assess technical risk, and develop capability.
  • •Technical degree required; Masters or Ph.D. in Engineering preferred; MBA or equivalent business education is a differentiator.
