Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage group engineering and/or technician activities, coordinating work with minimal supervision and broad objectives.
  • •Manage and direct complex mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including technical assignments and coordination.
  • •Provide specialized technical input for studies and design, including approving and signing off on work and presenting solutions to clients.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others and participate in development of technical proposals.
  • •Provide engineering budget and schedule estimates for large projects and stay current with sustainable design practices and emerging technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Possess either a Masters or a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 12 years of experience in transportation, technical buildings, highrise residential/commercial, institutional, data centers, and healthcare sectors with a proven track record in project management.
  • •Hands-on experience with ACMV, Fire Protection and Detection, Medical Gas, Cold/Hot water systems, Lifts and Escalators, and Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage systems.
  • •Registered with Board of Engineers (BEM) and/or hold a Professional Engineer with Practice Certification status.
  • •Proficiency in BIM (3D through 6D; LOD 200 to 400) and familiarity with building codes and healthcare-specific codes such as ASHRAE and NFPA.
