Key Responsibilities

  • •Support alternative delivery transportation projects, including mega-projects, for structural engineering design work.
  • •Perform structural design for bridges including prestressed beams, steel girder superstructures, and conventionally reinforced or post-tensioned substructures.
  • •Develop structural design packages for bridge projects and produce detailed retaining wall designs across all aspects of bridge design.
  • •Work with structural CAD deliverables as part of a design team (Structural CAD Designers role).
  • •Use Bentley MicroStation/Open Roads and bridge design tools (Bentley Suite, CSiBridge, Midas, PGSuper, MDX, VBent) to complete engineering design tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering (or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience) for junior, mid-level, and senior engineer roles.
  • •Junior: 2 years of related experience; Mid-Level: 6 years; Senior Level/Task Leads: 10 years (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Structural CAD Designers: BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •EIT Certification or PE License is preferred.
  • •State DOT experience is preferred.
