Job Summary

Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients before, during, and after procedures at Dubai Festival City. Prepare and maintain a sterile theatre environment, assist surgeons and anesthetists, monitor patients and escalate concerns, and complete surgical safety checklists. Manage theatre stock and consumables, perform patient assessments with accurate documentation in line with DHA and Al-Futtaim Health standards, and support audits, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
•Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care and ensure safe, efficient theatre operations aligned with DHA and Al-Futtaim Health standards.
•Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures and support accurate perioperative documentation.
•Maintain sterile conditions and follow infection control protocols, including completing and documenting surgical safety checklists.
•Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, manage theatre stock and consumables, and participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
•Current DHA Registered Nurse License or DHA Eligibility Letter (mandatory).
•Current BLS certification (mandatory).
•Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
•Minimum 2 years of Operating Theatre nursing experience in an acute care hospital or surgical centre.
