Source and develop commercial lending opportunities by negotiating term sheets, collecting borrower information, and conducting due diligence and underwriting for commercial real estate loan requests. •Establish and foster borrower/relationship connections and maintain referral networks.
•Analyze commercial lending opportunities (working capital lines, term loans, and owner-occupied real estate loans) and assess borrower/guarantor financials and collateral value.
•Gather additional information to support initial credit decisions and prepare credit display/presentation materials.
•Prepare investment analysis and credit packages for review by department manager and credit administrators, and guide requests through approval.
•Manage staff activities including interviewing/hiring input, performance evaluations, counseling, and coaching/training, and support closing with loan administrators and legal counsel.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 6–8 years of experience in commercial lending, including valuation and asset management, and financial analysis.
•B.A. degree in finance or related field and/or related work experience.
•Knowledge of and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations/laws including Regulation Z, Regulation B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML/CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
•General knowledge of loan documentation, collateral analysis, and financial statements.
•PC proficiency with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, Argus) and familiarity with Moody’s analysis systems and nCino.
