Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and foster borrower/relationship connections and maintain referral networks.
  • •Analyze commercial lending opportunities (working capital lines, term loans, and owner-occupied real estate loans) and assess borrower/guarantor financials and collateral value.
  • •Gather additional information to support initial credit decisions and prepare credit display/presentation materials.
  • •Prepare investment analysis and credit packages for review by department manager and credit administrators, and guide requests through approval.
  • •Manage staff activities including interviewing/hiring input, performance evaluations, counseling, and coaching/training, and support closing with loan administrators and legal counsel.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6–8 years of experience in commercial lending, including valuation and asset management, and financial analysis.
  • •B.A. degree in finance or related field and/or related work experience.
  • •Knowledge of and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations/laws including Regulation Z, Regulation B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML/CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
  • •General knowledge of loan documentation, collateral analysis, and financial statements.
  • •PC proficiency with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, Argus) and familiarity with Moody’s analysis systems and nCino.
