Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and manage system risk across assigned information systems.
  • •Support authorization and assessment activities (RMF Steps 1–6) and the Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process.
  • •Develop, maintain, and report security documentation and artifacts (including SSPPs, SARs, POA&Ms, ISCPs, IRPs, and CMPs).
  • •Perform continuous monitoring by reviewing logs, monitoring activity, analyzing vulnerability/compliance scan results, and supporting incident response activities.
  • •Coordinate with technical teams and external agencies/auditors, contribute to security policies and procedures, and provide lifecycle security advice including configuration/change impact reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science (or 1.5 years additional experience can substitute for 1 year of a typical degree program).
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in IT and/or Information Security.
  • •Active Secret security clearance holder and must be eligible for a Top-Secret clearance if requested.
  • •Ensure assigned systems comply with NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and agency frameworks, regulations, and guidance.
  • •Conduct risk assessments and support development of mitigation plans.
